excerpts from tonight

Joe and I both got caught at work later then usual so we decided to meet at Fuddrucker's for dinner. Noah got a cookie with his kid meal and asked for it almost immediately. I told him he had to eat his hot dog before he could have his cookie. He looked at me, looked at Joe and said "daddy wants the hot dog. i have cookie?" nice try kiddo :-P

As we were pulling out of Fuddrucker's, I got frustrated and yelled 'come on!'

Noah: "JERK! mommy made a mistake"

Me: "no, noah made a mistake"

Noah: "the jerk made a mistake!"

Joe's car was in front of us at a stop light

Noah: that's daddy! daddy has wheels. daddy has a car. daddy has lights. daddy has to drive. hi daddy. HI daddy. HI DADDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! mommy, i don't like this cd. new cd please.

as we were getting him ready for bed, he tooted. joe said "what did you do?"

Noah: i tooted(pause, and a big smile) i like tooting!

me: what do you say when you toot?

Noah: you say Ah-scuse mes!!!

the boy keeps me laughing, that's for sure :-)
