31 weeks

Pregnancy: 31 weeks

Weight Gain: according to my scale at home, -19 lbs.

Sleep: nope, not so much this week. nesting and scrubbing tubs at midnight, but not sleeping

Gender: Girl!

Name: Darcy Noelle

Feeling: okay. i'm having braxton hicks contractions, and regular pregnancy discomforts, but the cold is gone! Noah and Joe are battling a stomach bug, if i get that i might just move into a cave by myself until this baby comes b/c i'm tired of germs.

Health: good. bp is great too.

Movement: her movements are getting bigger and hurt more, but she's still constantly moving.

Next Appointment: Jan 27th

Gender: Girl!

Name: Darcy Noelle

Feeling: pretty decent. still a little lingering cough, but for the most part i'm recovered.

29wks (1 day)

Pregnancy: 29 weeks and 1 day (too sick to blog yesterday)

Weight Gain: forgot to get on the scale this week. i have a feeling it's down again b/c i've been vomiting and not eating.

Sleep: nope, not happening.

Gender: Girl!

Name: Darcy Noelle

Feeling: death warmed over probably feels better then I do. I started vomiting Monday afternoon, mostly from being sooo congested and coughing so hard. well, that made my entire body ache. i've never had my chest hurt on the outside. so i stayed home from work and TRIED to sleep. i'm taking robitussin now and it's getting better, but Noah is still sick too and that just makes me sad. he went to the pedi today, still just a cold but they prescribed a cough med safe for him.

Health: pregnancy wise it's fine. otherwise, i'm sick as a dog.

Movement: no changes, she's a mover and a shaker.

Next Appointment: Jan 11th at 30 weeks, i'm going every 2 weeks now.

other news: 2011 didn't start off great for us, but i'm hoping it gets better. our hot water heater went up on New Year's Day, but my dad was able to take care of it for us and we had a new one installed Monday night. I'm still not feeling really prepared for the baby, but my mom is working on painting the dresser this week and we'll do the window treatments...things are coming together. I'm slightly paranoid that she's going to turn out to be a boy, so i haven't bought too much stuff, but we had a lot of gender neutral things from Noah so I've been doing laundry and going through all that.

28 weeks

Pregnancy: 28 weeks

Weight Gain: -21 (i guess with the cold, i just haven't had much of an appetite)

Sleep: non-existent this week. about time to break out the tylenol pm and drug myself to sleep for a night.

Gender: Girl!

Name: Darcy Noelle

Feeling: the whole family has a cold that will not go away, so we're all pretty grouchy and snotty. fun times in our house. <--- STILL THE SAME. very grumpy over this.

Health: great besides the cold <-- still the same. i have to be grateful that i've had no pregnancy health problems, but i really want this cold to go away.

Movement: no changes, she's a mover and a shaker.

Next Appointment: December 30th, at 28weeks 2 days.

other news: had a panic attack this morning when i realized i'm almost at the time for every 2 week appts. we still have so much to do, and it's almost 2011 and that means she'll be here really really soon...okay, breathe shannon. breathe.

27 weeks

Pregnancy: 27 weeks...that's the start of third trimester!

Weight Gain: -20

Sleep: good days and bad days. for the most part i shouldn't complain. <--same

Gender: Girl!

Name: Darcy Noelle

Feeling: the whole family has a cold that will not go away, so we're all pretty grouchy and snotty. fun times in our house.

Health: great besides the cold

Movement: no changes, she's a mover and a shaker.

Next Appointment: December 30th, at 28weeks 2 days.

other news: Christmas is SATURDAY! We're still trying to wrap up all the gifts and be ready, but the cold is taking a lot out of us. Noah is more needy then usual so we're snuggling more which just leaves less time for cleaning and junk- but i'll never deny snuggle time!

26 weeks

Pregnancy: 26 weeks

Weight Gain: -20

Sleep: good days and bad days. for the most part i shouldn't complain.

Gender: Girl!

Name: Darcy Noelle

Feeling: honestly, i feel like shit. i have some sinus related thing that i can't seem to kick. it's getting better but still lots of pressure behind my ears, and i'm just tired and hormonal.

Health: other then the sinus thing, my health is perfect. BP still looking good, and i passed my glucose tolerance test.

Movement: no changes, she's a mover and a shaker.

Next Appointment: December 30th, at 28weeks 2 days.

other news: the bedding came in last night! oh, and 26 weeks means there's only 98 days left til my due date. since they're looking at doing a c-section at 39 weeks, that means i have LESS then 98 days! where did the time go?

25 weeks

Pregnancy: 25 weeks

Weight Gain: I actually forgot to weigh myself this morning, so I'm not sure...on Friday at the doctor it was still down -19

Sleep: I actually slept pretty decently this past week. I had the best nap ever (can't remember what day now, but it was awesome).

Gender: Girl!

Name: Darcy Noelle

Feeling: about the same. grumpy a lot and having lots of RLP. still dizzy too, and my appetite has disappeared again.

Health: Perfect. doc said the dizziness is totally normal and i just need to 'move slower'. blood pressure looks great and they're not concerned with my weight loss at all. just waiting on results of my glucose tolerance test now.

Movement: very active still. Noah actually told her "Darcy, Kicking isn't nice!" when she was moving around the other day. Her response was to just kick harder.

Next Appointment: December 30th. My doctor said we can schedule the c-section at that appointment, but he did say they like to do them at 39 weeks. So Darcy could possibly be a St. Patrick's Day baby.

In other news, I painted the nursery this past weekend. We picked out our bedding and everything too, so we're just waiting on that to come in. I'm still trying to figure out if I want to buy a glider for the room or just move Noah's recliner in there and get a small wooden rocker for Noah's room. We only use the recliner for him now to read his bedtime stories and a rocker would be more then sufficient for that...plus his room is relatively small (but his closet is HUGE), so the rocker would take up less room then the recliner.
