26 weeks

Pregnancy: 26 weeks

Weight Gain: -20

Sleep: good days and bad days. for the most part i shouldn't complain.

Gender: Girl!

Name: Darcy Noelle

Feeling: honestly, i feel like shit. i have some sinus related thing that i can't seem to kick. it's getting better but still lots of pressure behind my ears, and i'm just tired and hormonal.

Health: other then the sinus thing, my health is perfect. BP still looking good, and i passed my glucose tolerance test.

Movement: no changes, she's a mover and a shaker.

Next Appointment: December 30th, at 28weeks 2 days.

other news: the bedding came in last night! oh, and 26 weeks means there's only 98 days left til my due date. since they're looking at doing a c-section at 39 weeks, that means i have LESS then 98 days! where did the time go?

25 weeks

Pregnancy: 25 weeks

Weight Gain: I actually forgot to weigh myself this morning, so I'm not sure...on Friday at the doctor it was still down -19

Sleep: I actually slept pretty decently this past week. I had the best nap ever (can't remember what day now, but it was awesome).

Gender: Girl!

Name: Darcy Noelle

Feeling: about the same. grumpy a lot and having lots of RLP. still dizzy too, and my appetite has disappeared again.

Health: Perfect. doc said the dizziness is totally normal and i just need to 'move slower'. blood pressure looks great and they're not concerned with my weight loss at all. just waiting on results of my glucose tolerance test now.

Movement: very active still. Noah actually told her "Darcy, Kicking isn't nice!" when she was moving around the other day. Her response was to just kick harder.

Next Appointment: December 30th. My doctor said we can schedule the c-section at that appointment, but he did say they like to do them at 39 weeks. So Darcy could possibly be a St. Patrick's Day baby.

In other news, I painted the nursery this past weekend. We picked out our bedding and everything too, so we're just waiting on that to come in. I'm still trying to figure out if I want to buy a glider for the room or just move Noah's recliner in there and get a small wooden rocker for Noah's room. We only use the recliner for him now to read his bedtime stories and a rocker would be more then sufficient for that...plus his room is relatively small (but his closet is HUGE), so the rocker would take up less room then the recliner.

24 weeks

Pregnancy: 24 weeks; which means today is viability day!

Weight Gain: -19 lbs (this seems to be staying right around -19/-20 lbs)

Sleep: same old same old. not sleeping well, can't get comfortable, and in general i'm a real grump to be around. Every few days I'll take a benadryl or tylenol pm to help me fall asleep and get a few hours in, but I don't like taking medicines regularly.

Gender: Girl!

Name: Darcy Noelle

Feeling: hmmm...actually, i kinda feel like crap. If I wait too long between eating I get dizzy and nauseous. I'm grumpy a lot and my patience is wearing thin. all around, I'm just uncomfortable and moody.

Health: I have to talk to the doctor about that dizziness, but everything else is fine.

Movement: Darcy is auditioning for the next Alien movie. Her movements are very clear from the outside now, and I'm surprised by how often she actually HURTS when she moves. Noah never moved a lot so this is brand new to me.

Next Appointment: FRIDAY!!! December 3rd, at 24w3d. can't wait to hear the lovely heartbeat, and I might have to schedule the gd screening at this point.

23 weeks

Nothing has really change pregnancy wise, but I'm trying to be consistent with these updates so I'll fill it out.

Pregnancy: 23 weeks

Weight Gain: -20 lbs

Sleep: I've kind of given up on sleeping a regular night. I had a panic attack last night (related to Noah, not the pregnancy) and took some benadryl to calm down. probably best 5 hrs of sleep i've had in the past few months. my belly is starting to get heavier so it's harder to turn over and I just can't get comfortable at night.

Gender: Girl!

Name: Darcy Noelle

Feeling: I feel fine. I mean, I'm pregnant. I have anxiety and I'm hormonal...which means, I'm fine.

Health: health is awesome. no swelling this time around yet (knock on wood) and the only complaints i have are normal pregnancy ones (heartburn).

Movement: she moves a lot. still not a ton of movement from the outside, but if i sit reallllly still you can see her sometimes.

Next Appointment: December 3rd, at 24w3d

22 weeks

Pregnancy: 22 weeks

Weight Gain: -19 lbs

Sleep: it comes and goes. good days, bad days. I'm still exhausted and generally in bed by 9...then up again around 1 or so :-/

Gender: Girl!

Name: Darcy Noelle

Feeling: about the same. tired, achy, grumpy.

Health: i'm in great health. had an itchy weekend but as long as i keep up with my allergy meds it seems to be gone.

Movement: she moves a lot. still not a ton of movement from the outside, but if i sit reallllly still you can see her sometimes.

Next Appointment: December 3rd, at 24w3d

21 weeks

Pregnancy: 21 weeks

Weight Gain: -20 lbs (which means i gained a lb this week!)

Sleep: still spotty. some nights I get awesome sleep, but the past two mornings Sprout has woken me up at 3-4 am with dance parties.

Gender: it's a girl!

Name: Darcy Noelle

Feeling: right now, i'm feeling great. still on an excitement high from the ultrasound. Baby was yawning, rolling, playing peek-a-boo and just very active in general.

Health: i'm healthy, but i still feel like crud a lot. still random nausea. i try to deny it, but it's just not going away.

Movement: She's very active. Only really felt her from the outside a few times, but she moves constantly.

Next Appointment: December 3rd (I moved it so it's easier for Joe to attend).

20 weeks

Pregnancy: 20 weeks

Weight Gain: -21 lbs Doctor isn't concerned, so I'm okay with this.

Sleep: I get some, occasionally...when i'm not waking up to pee every hour.

Gender: still TBD. baby was uncooperative, but the u/s lady said she'd 'lean towards girl' based on a shot she got while the baby was flipping around.

Name: waiting for the follow up u/s to announce

Feeling: hormonal, tired, and fat. grumpy a lot too. (about the same. really sick of getting sick)

Health: aside from the morning sickness (still), round ligament pain, swollen feet, and backaches...i'm in great health.

Movement: baby has dance parties now. Joe even felt him/her from the outside for the first time!

Next Appointment: November 9th for follow up ultrasound, December 6th for next checkup. They mentioned I can talk about scheduling my c-section then. holy crap, how did it get to be that close already?
